This site does not fullfill it's original purpose and so must be changed.

To this end we are going to start afresh splitting the site into three or more unique sites each with a unique domain name.

We will in time produce a search engine specifically for thanet content.

None of us intended to become administrators of a large and unwieldy system to complex for the average web user to consider using. But we have become this.

WiFi and Public Internet Access

One of Google's "success stories" details the rise of wifinder.com and it's success with the Google advert program.

Today we have added support for WiFinder with a new section listing the Public Access to Internet in Thanet.

Now one thing is clear and that is that the lsit is far short of covering even half the internet cafes, WiFi hotspots and other access points.

Off the top of our heads we could think of three in Margate.

Life returns to the airport

I doubt many of you missed it but the Thanet Gazette managed to tuck this little nugget away very silently.

Manston airport will begin holiday flights again (although the internal flights are still missing).

So now we can fly to the Coasta Brava for around £80 but must still face a day of hard travelling to get further north than say, London.

kentescapes.com is where you will want to make the bookings. But what I want to know is how long untill internal flights are restored?
