This site is a day late and a dime short on the big story but thanks to the likes of Big News Margate the pulse of news has not lessened.

It seems that (as we all now know) the only blog by a council member in thanet has closed up like frightened clam.

TDC have obviously put the big slap on Mr D Green but while there is breth in our bodies and life in our hands the internet connected and talkative thanet bloggers will continue to report the news.

My recomendation is as follows:

1. "sign up" to this: Safe2Speak and show the civil servants gagged from telling what needs to be told that they can speak to you with confidence.

2. Go back over the blog. Do it carefully and revisit each issue. Do it loud and do it often. Eventually we shall start to expirence a backlash, or maybe just some general nervouseness. That's the topic. Press hard and don't stop!

3. Never retreat never surrender.
