With a waiting list of over 4,000 for dental attention Thanet is in dire need. Most of the time you need to be in agony to get attention and by then it is usually too late to save the tooth. Even medieval England had better care it seems.

The council is well aware of the issue and has yet to make any real apparent effort.

There are apparently two new

There are apparently two new practices that will take 3,500 people but only one Ramsgate the other is in Sandwich. They are to be TOP SECRET!

MP Steve Ladyman claims on

MP Steve Ladyman claims on his websites that despite all the Dentists doing what they have always wanted and leaving the NHS patients to the dentists that carry out needless operations (something I suspected my last dentist of) we will be better off. He claims that the money they will save will be used to "bring new dentists to the area".

"These new practices will be up and running by the autumn and we’ll end up with more NHS dentistry in South Thanet than we had before the changes began."

I remain highly sceptical (but will be very pleased if he can do this).
